The way pictures are displayed here is changing. All new slideshows are
hosted at Flickr,
so basically that means you can download the originals if you so
wish. There are lots of reasons why it's better apart from that.
The slideshows
look
snazzy,
for one thing. You can pause, resume and change the speed of
them. It also means that pics can be displayed automatically on my Facebook profile
and other places I need them to.

To
download the original picture
Click on the image when its
displayed in the slideshow. If
it's passed by already, just select
it from the strip at the bottom of the slideshow and then click on
the image. When you've done that, you'll see some text appear on
the image. Click the link that says 'view photo page.' You'll then
be taken
to
Flickr
where
the
image
will be displayed. Click the All Sizes button above the picture and,
hey presto, you'll be able to download the original image. Good eh?
